ORDER
The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to register the sale deeds presented by the petitioner.
2. According to the petitioner, an appointment has been duly obtained, and the relevant token number has also been produced before this Court. However, the first respondent neither received nor entertained the sale deeds and orally informed the petitioner that, in view of the orders of the Assistant Director of Town and Country Planning, the documents could not be accepted for registration.
3. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Standing Counsel submitted that the petitioner had merely made an oral enquiry and had not actually presented the documents for registration. Page No. 2 of 4
4. In view of the rival contentions, and without going into the merits of the case or the truth or otherwise of the respective submissions, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition on the following terms:- (i) Within three weeks from the date of receipt of a web copy of this order, the petitioner shall present the documents for registration.
(ii) Upon such presentation, the first respondent/Sub Registrar shall receive the documents and process them in accordance with law.
(iii) No costs.
