ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take action against the respondents 3 to 9 for Ex-communicating the petitioners family from the Peraiyampatti Village, Elumalai Post, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District.
2. Heard Mr.R.G.Shankar Ganesh, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.R.M.S.Sethuraman, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents No.1 and 2 and Mr.R.Gowri Shankar, learned Counsel appearing for the respondents No.3, 4 and 6 to 9. Page No.2/5

Considering the limited relief sought for by the writ petitioners without adverting to the averments made in the affidavit in support of the Writ Petition and considering the facts that the petitioners have already approached the first respondent by way of representation dated 12.06.2014, the petitioners are directed to make a fresh representation to the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent shall consider the representation to be made by the petitioners and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks thereafter.
4. With the above said directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 10.01.2023 NCC: Yes / No Index :
