The present Writ Petition has been filed by a Health Inspector Grade-II, who was working in the respondent Department seeking to include his name in the panel for promotion to the post of Health Inspector Grade-I, on the ground that his punishment period has already got culminated on 07.09.2012 itself. Seeking the said benefit, the petitioner has addressed a representation on 14.03.2024, to the first respondent herein seeking inclusion of his name in the panel. Since there in no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner dated 14.03.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks 2/4

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
