JUDGMENT
(By G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) Heard both sides.
2.The writ petitioner seeks re-issuance of passport. The learned Single Judge rightly relegated him to go before the learned trial Magistrate for appropriate relief. But then, learned Single Judge was not right in holding that the appellant cannot utilize the passport for travelling abroad without permission of the Regional Passport Officer, Madurai. This direction was not called for. Therefore, the last sentence in Paragraph No.4 of the order of the learned Single Judge alone is set aside.
3.This writ appeal is partly allowed. No costs. (G.R.S. J.,) & (K.R.S. J.,) 28.07.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No ias 2/4
