ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the complaint in FIR No.172 of 2024 dated 30.05.2024 on the file of the third respondent to the second respondent and the second respondent to investigate further and file final report based on the petitioner complaint dated 12.06.2024, within the period as stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.172 of 2024 on 30.05.2024 for the alleged offences under Sections 323 and 506(1) IPC and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and that they have 2/4

already examined three witnesses and they have not yet received wound certificate. He would further submit that the investigating officer has already been transferred and the present Sub Inspector of Police, Kottampatti Police Station is in charge of the present case.

3. Recording the same, the Inspector of Police, Kottampatti Police Station is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.172 of 2024 and file a final report before the jurisdictional Court within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent is directed to monitor the same.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
