The petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent police on 17.06.2025 and approached this Court that his complaint has not been acted upon by the respondent police. 2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the Commissioner of Police and the same was forwarded to the respondent police. The complaint of this petitioner was enquired in P2/32809/5170/2025 by the respondent police and they found that there is a dispute between the petitioner and his first wife, with regard to the possession of a house property. Since it is a civil dispute, they have closed the complaint on 18.07.2025, by advising the parties to approach the competent civil Court. 2/4

3.Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed, with a direction to the respondent police to furnish a copy of the closure report to this petitioner, enabling him to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
