ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner.

2. This writ petition has been filed by the Management. An award was passed wayback on 02.02.2016. The writ petition has been filed after a lapse of more than six years. I do not find any convincing explanation in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition. There is no bar of limitation for entertaining the writ petition. But the doctrine of laches will have to be borne in mind. The award passed by the labour Court in favour of the workman cannot be challenged by the Management after a long lapse of time. On this ground, I decline to entertain this writ petition. It stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
