Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the first respondent police to file charge sheet in Crime No.667 of 2021 to investigate the same in accordance with law.

ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the first respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.667/2021 and to file the final report within the stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner a case has been registered by the respondents police for the offence under Sections 323 and 506(i) IPC in Crime No.667 of 2021, on 24.06.2021. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of 4 months, no progress has been made in the investigation.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that so far no witnesses have been examined. He would seek three months time to complete the investigation and file final report. 4.In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the first respondent police to complete the investigation and file final https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.16846 of 2021 report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing of the final report, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry of this Court. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
