O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police not to interfere in the civil dispute existing between the petitioner and the fourth respondent and consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.08.2023.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner's wife and his son are running a pawn broker business by following the law.

3. It is submitted that the respondents 2 and 3 Police have been insisting the petitioner to permit the respondent No.4 to redeem his 1.505 gms of gold without paying interest, for which, the petitioner has refused and thereby, the Police have been harassing the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the official respondents submits that as per the Police record, there is no complaint given by the fourth respondent against the petitioner and the respondent Nos.2 and 3 have never called the petitioner and have not directed the petitioner to permit the respondent No.4 to redeem his jewel 2/5

without paying the interest and the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is incorrect.

In view of the submissions made by both sides, since there is no complaint pending against the petitioner and since the respondents 2 and 3 themselves have stated that they did not ask the petitioner to permit the respondent No.4 to redeem the jewelry without paying any interest, no further orders can be passed. In case any grievance is there against the respondent No.4, if any application is filed, the respondents Police are directed to dispose of the same after following due process of law.
