Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner wants to register the petition mentioned judgment and decree. The petitioner claims that he is the grandson of Muthu Thambi who was shown as the third defendant in the said civil proceedings. Subject to furnishing of proof that the petitioner is the grandson of the Muthu Thambi, the respondent is directed to register the petition mentioned judgment and decree. It is well settled that the time limit of Section 23 of the Registration Act will not apply. This writ petition is allowed.
