Heard Mr.R.Senthilkumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.C.Ramar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.A.Thiagarajan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the second respondent.
2.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 10.09.2019, for appointment to the post of Panchayat Secretary to Mathur Panchayat, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District, as per the notification of the second respondent, in Na.Ka.No.B4/448/2018, dated 16.04.2018.

W.P.(MD) No.20171 of 2019 4.According to the petitioner, he belongs to Agamudayar Community, which is under Backward Class. Moreover, he belongs to agriculture and poor family. In view of the notification published by the second respondent, dated 16.04.2018, he applied for the post of Panchayat Secretary to Mathur Panchayat in the second respondent office and he participated in the selection process on 21.02.2019. However, till date, he has not received any communication from the respondents, with regard to the selection process. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition. 5.From the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition, it is seen that the petitioner has not alleged any irregularity in the selection process. According to the petitioner, he has not received any communication from the respondents, with regard to the selection process for the post of Panchayat Secretary.
6.Considering the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.09.2019, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
