ORDER

The above writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner and her siblings for the property in S.No.91/1A, measuring an extent of 0.16.00 hectors, situated in Keelamudukulathur Village, Mudukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District and to issue joint patta in their favour within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

Mr.P.Thambidurai, learned Government Advocate for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's request has been rejected on 29.02.2024 and the same has been communicated to the respondents through e-mail. The reason for the rejection is that the name of the petitioner's mother differs. The petitioner's mother's name is Katchipath @ Katchipath Bheevi. The word 'Bheevi' is missing in the patta, whereas in the legal heirship certificate, her name has been shown as Katchipath Bheevi. However, the petitioner would confirm that Katchipath and Katchipath Bheevi are one and the same.

3. Further, the petitioner informs the Court that she would make a fresh application through online by 16.08.2024.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh application seeking joint patta before the respondents through online on or before 16.08.2024 and within a period of two weeks thereafter, the joint patta will be issued by the respondents in favour of the legal representatives of Katchipath Bheevi. No costs.
