O R D E R

The present Habeus Corpus Petition has been listed in the additional list consequent to the production of the daughter of the petitioner Akshaya aged about 22 years, who had been complained to be missing from around 10.06.2024 onwards. In this regard, First Information Report had been registered in Crime No.335 of 2024 on 11.06.2024 under the caption 'woman missing' by Melur Police Station, Madurai District.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor informed this Court that the daughter of the petitioner had been secured and that she had already married the second respondent/Soorya Devan A.R and also produced a certificate of marriage issued under Section 13 of the Special Marriage Act , 1954 dated 06.08.2024 issued by the Marriage Officer, Venganoor, Trivandrum, Kerala State. 3.We enquired the daughter of the petitioner herein and she stated that she was working in Coimbatore and the second respondent was working in a close by shop and they had taken a decision to marry each 2/4

other. She had assured that she would study further. We also enquired with the petitioner and the parents of the girl and made arrangement to have interaction with their daughter in the mediation and conciliation centre attached to his Bench. We request the Director, mediation centre to resolve the issue and permit the petitioner and their daughter and son -inlaw to have fruitful interaction among themselves.

4. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed as no further orders is required to be passed.
