ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her husband on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner on 13.09.2019.

2.Heard both sides.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is 20 years old and she fell in love with one Ajithkhan. On 12.09.2019, the petitioner married with Ajithkhan as per the Hindu Rites and Customs and the petitioner's husband/ Ajithkhan belongs to Muslim religion and hence, the petitioner's parents not accepted their marriage and hence, they were separately living together. The parents of the petitioner threatened with dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13134 of 2019 4.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that on the complaint given by the third and fourth respondents, a case has been registered in Crime No.735 of 2019 as woman missing petition. Now, the petitioner married with Ajithkhan and living together.

5.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her husband at the hands of the third and fourth respondents.

6.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
