The petitioner with a grievance that the respondent police is 1/6
harassing him in a civil dispute, has approached this Court. 2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that the petitioner is a landlord and the third respondent is a tenant. The third respondent has lodged a complaint as against this petitioner that this petitioner has broke open his shop and has also taken all the valuables from his shop. Similar complaint has been lodged by the petitioner/landlord. Both the complaints were enquired by the respondent police as petition enquiries in CSR Nos.168 and 169 of 2025 and they have closed the same, as the issue is between the landlord and the tenant, by advising the respective parties to approach the competent civil Court, to get their appropriate relief. 3.
The learned counsel for the third respondent has entered appearance and by producing certain photographs, has attempted to project as if that certain goods have been stolen from his shop. 4.

5.This Court considered the rival submissions made. 6.The petitioner has approached this court that the respondent police is harassing him under the guise of an enquiry. The respondent police has taken a stand that the petitioner as well as the third respondent have lodged complaints as against each other and both the complaints have been enquired and closed as the issue is between the landlord and the tenant, with an advice to approach the competent civil Court.
7.In view of the above, this Criminal Original petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner, to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
