The petitioner, who is a Hollow Block manufacturer having his unit in Shop No.33 at SIDCO, Urapuli, Paramakudi Taluk with an intention to extend his business has made a request for allotment of shop No.40 in the SIDCO Industries, Urapuli, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramathapuram District and his request was rejected. As against the same, this writ petition was filed by him in the year 2014.

2.Today(05.10.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent SIDCO submits that the shop No.40 has already been allotted to the third respondent herein and therefore the petitioner's application cannot be considered.

3.Considering that the shop required by the petitioner has already been allotted to an another person, this writ petition is dismissed as no relief can be granted to this petitioner. No costs.
