This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to quash the Cr.No.313 of 2022 on the file of the first Respondent Police by recording the compromise reached between the Petitioner/accused and de-facto complainant/second Respondent.

2.The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the DeFacto Complainant is the Wiring Contractor in the Electricity Board. The accused is the Commercial Inspector, EB Office, Keelatheru, Middle Lane, Tiruparankundram.

3.It is the allegation that the Petitioner alleged to have threatened the De-Facto Complainant stating that he had instigated the vigilance complaint against him. Under the same, he alleged to have attempted to inflict injuries using the knife against the De-Facto Complainant. Subsequent to the complaint, the De-Facto Complainant alleged to have compromised the issue with the petitioner herein. 4.A memo of Joint Compromise was also filed along with this Petition on behalf of the the Petitioner/accused and the second 2/4

Respondent/De-Facto Complainant, which is attested by the learned Counsels for the Petitioner as well as the second Respondent. In the light of the compromise arrived at between the Petitioner and the second Respondent, the Joint Compromise Memo is recorded. 5.In the light of the Joint Compromise Memo, this Petition is allowed and the FIR in Cr.No.313 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thiruparankundram Police Station, Madurai City, Madurai, is quashed.
