ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the official respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.617 of 2021 and file Final report within the stipulated period.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he has been wrongly implicated in Crime No.617 of 2021, for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b) (ii) (B) of NDPS Act and has been arrested. According to the petitioner, after registration of the case, there is no progress in the investigation. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that after registration of the case, he was absconding. So far two witnesses have been examined.

4.Considering the nature of offence, there shall be direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report before the concerned Court, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing the final report, compliance report must be submitted before this Court.
