This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in FIR in Crime No. 47/2017 on the file of the first respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the second respondent police has completed investigation and filed final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchendur and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C. No.27 of 2019.

Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side), the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
