Police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(c) and 4(1-A) of TN Prohibition Act in Crime No.761 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police.

3. Even though the present case is relating to the recovery of liquor bottles, which is kept by the 1st accused for illegal sale after the closure of the bar and the 2nd accused is said to have been only a helper, considering the fact that the petitioner herein has got three previous cases, out of which two are similar in nature and one under NDPS Act, this is not a fit case for grant of the anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
