This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.09.2018 to appoint board of trustees for Arulmigu Renganathaswamy temple and Thenkondar Chatiram Thanjavur as per the scheme order in O.A.No.135 of 1973.

W.P.(MD) No.20013 of 2019 2.The petitioner's ancestors established Arulmigu Renganathaswamy temple and Thenkondar Chatiram at Gandhi Road, Thanjavur Taluk, Thanjavur District. A scheme decree came to be passed in O.A.No.135 of 1973 on 11.05.1987. As per the scheme decree, five trustees shall be appointed to manage the affairs of the Trust and out of five trustees, three trustees shall be appointed from the family of donors. The tenure of the trustees came to an end and therefore, they sought for appointment of new trustees. The petitioner made representation, dated 17.09.2018 to appoint Board of Trustees. However, there is no response from the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.09.2018 to appoint Board of Trustees, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
