JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The appellant/writ petitioner preferred the present intra-court appeal to assail the writ order dated 01.07.2025 passed in W.P(MD)No.17701 of 2025. 2.The appellant participated in the TNPSC Group I Preliminary Examination 2025. She had applied under the Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category. She participated in the preliminary written examination. 3.The grievances of the appellant is that extra time, as per the guidelines were not provided to the appellant and that the ground floor has not been allotted.

4.With reference to the grievances, the learned standing counsel appearing for the TNPSC submitted that as per the invigilator's report ie., Headmaster of Khajamian Higher Secondary School, Trichirappalli, the facility was provided to the appellant in the ground floor to write the examination and extra time had also been granted. However, the appellant completed the examination within the time limit prescribed and handed over the papers to the invigilator.

5.May that as it be, the learned standing counsel appearing for the TNPSC has now submitted that the case of the appellant will be considered under the Persons With Disabilities (PWD) category. The cut-off marks applicable to the PWD category will be taken into consideration for the purpose of selecting the appellant both in the preliminary examination and in the ensuing main examination to be conducted.

6.Since the learned standing counsel appearing for the TNPSC has submitted that the appellant will be considered under the PWD category in the selection process, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken. The 3/6

respondents are directed to ensure that the cut-off marks and the guidelines to selection process applicable to the Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category are applied mutatis mutandis to the appellant.

7.With these directions, the writ order dated 01.07.2025 passed in W.P(MD)No.17701 of 2025 is set aside and the Writ Appeal stands allowed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
