W.P(MD)Nos.19619 and 19620 of 2021 COMMON ORDER Both the Writ Petitions have been filed just towards beginning of the Diwali season, seeking permission to grant licence to sell crackers.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner had placed reliance on an earlier order, W.P(MD)No.20679 of 2019, wherein, directions had been given to renew the licence. The petitioner had been granted such permission even this year. In view of the interim orders passed in these two Writ Petitions, and since, the Diwali season has gone, nothing further survives in the present Writ Petition. But, the writ petitioner is permitted to raise all grounds and any additional grounds in W.P(MD)No.20679 of 2019, which I understand is still pending.

3.Both these Writ Petitions are therefore disposed of without entering into a discussion on merits. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed, leaving the merits to be addressed by the petitioner in W.P(MD)No.20679 of 2019.
