O R D E R

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a Assistant, who was retired from service of the third respondent Co-operative Society seeking a Mandamus for disbursal of arrears of wages and other benefits within the time frame.

2. A perusal of the typed set of papers reveals that the second respondent herein has issued a direction to the third respondent to disburse the arrears of Rs.3,20,807/- in monthly installment of Rs.5,000/- per month. However, according to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, except a sum of Rs.2,000/- no other amount was disbursed to him.

3. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent herein is directed to comply with the order of the second respondent and disburse the 2/4

arrears of Rs.3,20,807/- at the rate of Rs.5,000/- per month from April 2024 onwards. The arrears amount shall be paid within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter continue to pay the amount at the rate of Rs.5,000/- per month.

4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
