ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 01.07.2025, seeking issuance of patta in respect of the property situated in S.No.334/1, 334/2 in Joint Patta No. 1658 at Sevalur Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for R1 and R2.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased by him in an open auction conducted by the Authorized Officer of the State Bank of India for a sale consideration of Rs.70,40,000/- (Rupees Seventy Lakhs Forty Thousand Only). The Sale Certificate was issued by the Authorized Officer in favour of the petitioner on 19.01.2024. From that date onwards the petitioner has been enjoying the subject property without any hindrance.

5. The petitioner submitted a representation before the respondent on 01.07.2025, seeking issuance of separate patta for the property purchased by him and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

6. The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner has not filed any proper online application seeking issuance of patta. Therefore, the representation filed by the petitioner has not been considered.

7. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the petitioner is directed to submit a proper online application before the 2nd respondent, seeking issuance of separate patta with supporting documents within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On submission of the online application, the 2nd respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight (8) weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.

8. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
