ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents-1 & 2 to provide adequate protection to the petitioner and her family members and her property.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

3. It is seen from the records that based on a complaint lodged by the petitioner the second respondent has registered a case in Crime No.350 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(i) of I.P.C. as against the third respondent and others. The third respondent is none other than own daughter-in-law of the complainant and the other accused persons are family members. Now, the petitioner sought for police protection in the hands of the accused persons.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the dispute between the family members, the second respondent is directed to enquire the matter and complete the investigation and file final report, within a period of Three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
