O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the defacto complainant seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.241 of 2022 registered against the accused persons for the offence under Sections 406 and 420 IPC on the file of the respondent Police.
2. According to the petitioner, except to registration of the case, there is no substantial progress in the investigation and therefore, he sought for suitable direction to the respondent Police.
3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that so far, the Investigating Officer has examined three witnesses and the investigation is in progress and within short time, they will complete the investigation and file the final report. It is also submitted that since the petitioner is not being co-operated for the enquiry, the delay is occurred.
4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondent Police to complete the investigation as 2/4
expeditiously as possible not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to co-operate for the investigation.
