ORDER

The petitioner with an allegation that the respondent police is harassing him under the guise of an enquiry has approached this Court. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the official respondents submits that one Abdul Wahab has lodged a complaint as against the petitioner and the third respondent that they ran a chit fund and cheated him. Based on which, an enquiry has been initiated in CSR.No.221 of 2025 and the same is pending. 3.Since it is reported that an enquiry is pending, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the meantime, the respondent Police shall not harass the petitioner. In the event, if any cognizable offence is made out, then, it is open to the second respondent to register a case and to proceed in accordance with law. If any case is registered as against the petitioner, it is open to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.

4.With the above directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
