ORDER
The petitioner, who is the sole accused in Cr.No.606 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent Police, has filed this petition seeking a 1/4
direction to the second respondent Police to complete the investigation within a time frame.
2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submits that the investigation in Cr.No.606 of 2024 has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed, through E.Filing before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram, on 16.04.2025. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission, this criminal original petition is closed with liberty to challenge the final report, provided if he is having grounds. Mere filing of final report is not sufficient. It is the duty of the first respondent Police to ensure that the final report is taken on file, without any further delay. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram is expected to take the final report on file, within a reasonable time, if it is otherwise in order. 23.07.2025 gns 2/4
