This Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a writ of Certiorari, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned Circular No.4 of 2014 dated 08.04.2014 on the file of the respondent No.1 and quash the same as illegal to the extent of reserving 300 vacancies (20% of 1500) for Special Assistants alone.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation and hence, the issue raised in this writ petition is no more relevant to him.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court finds that there is nothing to adjudicate in this writ petition.
