PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the letter of rejection passed by the 2nd respondent in Letter No.Nil dated 08.02.2013 and to quash the same as illegal and further direct the respondents to disburse the incurred bills to a sum of Rs.2,90,385/-.

ORDER

The writ petition is seeking for a Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the letter of rejection passed by the second respondent in Letter No.Nil dated 08.02.2013, to quash the same as illegal and to direct the respondents to disburse the incurred bills for a sum of Rs.2,90,385/-. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the second respondent had produced a statement indicating that a sum of 2/4

Rs.2,47,776/- has been paid to the petitioner on 20.01.2023 against the final bill value of Rs.2,90,384/- deducting a sum of Rs.42,608/-, for which reimbursement cannot be made in line with G.O.Ms.No.243, Finance (Salaries) Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, dated 29.06.2012. The said statement of the second respondent is recorded.

3.In view of the said payment, no further adjudication is required to be made in this writ petition and the writ petition is accordingly closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
