ORDER
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to quash the order of the first respondent, dated 06.08.2007 and direct the first respondent to reinstate the petitioner as Anganwadi Worker.
2.The writ petitioner participated in the process of interview for selection to the post of Anganwadi Worker and accordingly, she attended the interview also. The writ petitioner produced all the certificates, family card and other documents. 3.The contention of the writ petitioner is that without any application of mind, the appointment was denied to the writ petitioner. However, a perusal of the impugned order reveals that the petitioner has provided a false information, as if she was residing in the place as stated in the application and before the interview. W.P.(MD).No.12422 of 2014 cancellation of appointment was issued by the District Collector, in proceedings, dated 06.08.2007 and the writ petition is filed on 25.07.2014, after a lapse of about seven years. 4.In view of the fact that the writ petition itself is filed, after a lapse of seven years from the date of passing of the impugned order of cancellation of appointment, no further consideration is to be shown and the writ petition stands dismissed on the ground of laches.
5.Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
