PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider petitioner representation dated 02.06.2025, and consequently the 2nd respondent to issue a separate patta in favour of petitioner by removing the petitioner name from the existing the joint patta pertaining to survey No.319(4A) in Joint Patta No.459, total extent of 0.05.50 Ares situated at Vallampudursethi, Thanjavur Taluk, Thanjavur District.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to consider his application, dated 02.06.2025, seeking issuance of separate patta in respect of the property situated in S.No.319(4A) in Joint Patta No.459, to an extent of 0.05.50 Ares in Vallampudursethi, Thanjavur Taluk, Thanjavur District. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that patta for the subject property stands in the name of the five persons including the petitioner. He submitted a representation on 02.06.2025, seeking issuance of separate patta and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that if the petitioner submits necessary documents to establish his exclusive right over the subject property, his request will be considered in accordance with law.

4.In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to produce supporting documents before the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 02.06.2025, shall be considered by the second respondent and 2/4

final orders shall be passed on its own merits within further period of eight weeks.

5.With the above said directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
