PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to take suitable any action against respondent Nos.2 and 3 who indulged in giving 46 water connection without valid permission and misappropriating the amounts realized by way of collecting deposit and water tax in Maravanmadam Panchayat in Thoothukudi District. [Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] The matter has not come up for a long time. It is submitted that the petitioner is dead. None appears for the petitioner.

2. It is stated that the grievance in the Writ Petition is that respondent Nos.2 and 3 gave 46 water connection without valid permission and misappropriated the amounts realized by way of collecting deposit and water tax.

3. It is for the respondent No.1 to look into the said allegations. The respondent No.1 shall consider the said allegations on its own merits.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
