O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to secure the missing girl namely Kavitha who is the daughter of the petitioner based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 11.08.2019 and 06.09.2019.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's daughter married one Duraipandi, S/o. Nagaiah. Due to the wedlock, she delivered a male child. On 10.08.2019, one Sidique, S/o.Pitchai kidnapped the petitioner's daughter from the Rajakambeeram village, Sivagangai District with the help of his friends. Thereafter, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 11.08.2019. On receipt of the same, the second respondent police issued C.S.R.No.576 of 2019. Thereafter, the second respondent did not conduct any enquiry and register the same. Hence, he sought for a direction to direct the second respondent to secure the missing girl. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13362 of 2019 the respondent police submitted that on enquiry, it is found that the daughter of the petitioner namely Kavitha eloped one Sidique, S/o.Pitchai and their whereabouts not known. He further submitted that the second respondent police would complete the investigation within a period of four weeks.
4.Considering the above facts and circumstance of the case, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and register the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
