long term promotion policy of the third respondent in light of the mandatory guidelines circulated by the respondents 1 and 2 from time to time.

When the matter came up for hearing on 06.08.2019, there was no representation on behalf the writ petitioner and hence, the matter was directed to be posted under the caption "For Dismissal". Accordingly, it is listed today i.e., 08.08.2019. Even today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the writ petitioner. In such circumstances, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the Writ Petition for non-prosecution. 2.Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
