Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned Advertisement No.1/2019, dated 7.3.2019/Notification No.1, on the file of the third respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently for a direction directing the respondents not to fill up the 564 number of post of Forest Watcher without regularizing the Petitioner's services as Forest Watcher. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the third respondent has already released the select list and that those who have been selected were appointed and in service since 2019, whereas, in the present Writ Petition, the Petitioner has challenged only the notification. In view of the subsequent development, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present Writ Petition. 2/5

2.In view of the same, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. However, the Petitioner is given the liberty to challenge the select list, in the manner known to law, if so advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
