O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to survey and sub-divide the petitioner's properties comprising in Survey No.263 totally 3.75 Acres situated at Vellalapatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, on the basis of the petitioner's representations dated 06.06.2022 and 24.06.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials available on record.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that a representation dated 24.06.2023 was made seeking survey and subdivision of the property in question. Since no action has been taken by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that after considering the claims of all parties, 2/5

proper steps would be taken to survey and subdivide the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

In view of the above, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2023 for survey and subdivision on merits and in accordance with law. Notice shall be issued to the petitioner and the owners of relevant adjacent lands and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from today.
