O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a Mandamus, directing the third respondent to delete the name of the petitioner from the history-sheet, on the file of the fourth respondent.

2. Today(03.03.2023), when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the proceedings of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Nagercoil Division, wherein, he had directed the fourth respondent to extend the history sheet of the petitioner from 01.01.2023 to 31.12.2023.

3. In view of the said order, there is no necessity to adjudicate this writ petition, as prayed for. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police dated 01.01.2023, if so advised.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
