ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Alleging willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 18.10.2023 made in W.P(MD)No.25300 of 2023, this contempt petition is filed.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that pursuant to the order made in W.P(MD)No.25300 of 2023 on 18.10.2023, the land was surveyed and an order for eviction under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905(in short 'the Act'), was passed after giving an opportunity to the alleged encroacher by issuing notice under Section 7 of the Act. The said order of eviction was challenged in W.P(MD)No.19258 of 2024 and interim stay of all further proceedings was granted by this Court on 09.08.2024.
