ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 to 3 not to give permission to any person or group separately to perform a temple festival for Sree Vallaba Ganapathi Temple and Sree Nagathamman Temple or any other program situated in Kidangivayal village in the west side or Udhayamanikkam, Aavudyar Taluk, Pudukottai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2024.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that so far the fourth respondent or any other person has not given representation seeking permission to conduct the festival.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the other parties have already circulated a notice proposing to conduct festival on 23.08.2024. The copy of the said notice has also been annexed in the petition.

4.Considering the above, the third respondent is directed to ascertain whether any permission was obtained from the competent authorities to conduct the festival, if not, the third respondent shall take necessary action in this regard.

5.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
