PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first to third respondents to initiate legal action against the fourth and fifth respondents and consequentially direct the fourth and fifth respondents to pay a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- each to the petitioner as compensation for the illegal confinement of the petitioner's daughter namely Karpagalakshimi.

2.Today(24.03.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
