This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 18.10.2021 and take necessary steps to dispose the petition filed by the petitioner under Section 5 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act 2007 before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Srirangam, Trichy, Trichi District, within the stipulated period specified by this Court.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader placed the proceedings of the first respondent, dated 08.07.2022.

3.In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
