This Petition is filed in the nature of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of Survey Nos.1251/2A2 and 1251/2A3, situated at Pannapatti East revenue Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of his representation, dated 08.01.2021 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner herein has been in possession of the property, for which he seeks patta. In the year 1998, the Government of Tamil Nadu constructed 40 number of houses each contains three cents for the benefit of Scheduled Caste Arunthathiyar community. The petitioner belongs to the said community. Therefore, the petitioner is entitled for such allotment. The petitioner gave a representation to the District Collector, Trichy, on 08.01.2021, seeking patta. W.P.(MD)No.19577 of 2021 3.It would only be appropriate that the petitioner should give application through online in appropriate procedure to the second respondent/the Tahsildar, Manapparai Taluk Office, Trichy District, by paying necessary fee. On receipt of such application, the second respondent may invite the petitioner and examine the records available with the petitioner and thereafter, make further enquiry, if required, and pass necessary orders, at any rate within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of application from the petitioner.

4.With the said observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
