ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused Rank not known, is apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police, for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, in Crime No.Not known 1/3

of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is a victim girl stated in her statement that she was taken in adoption by one Kannan and his wife, when she was four years old. She studied up to 6th standard, later did not continue the studies. When she was alone in the house, frequent sexual harassment, even penetrative sexual assault was made by this petitioner and other brothers. On the basis of the complaint, a case was registered and statement of victim girl was also recorded. The victim girl was also subjected to medical examination. Seeking anticipatory bail, this petition came to be filed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not involved in the occurrence and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The respondent police is present before this Court. He stated that so far this petitioner was not secured. After coming to know about the registration of FIR, all the accused persons, including the adoptive parents, went absconding. This petitioner is also absconding. Even the petitioner is aged about 19 years, it appears that he sexually harassed the 16 years old victim girl. Because of the continuous assault, the victim girl is not willing to go to her parental home.

5. Considering the serious allegations made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant relief to the petitioner. 2/3
