ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondent police to complete the further investigation in Crime No.177 of 2012 and to file final report within a time frame. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.Sulthansha, learned counsel appearing for the defacto complainant and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent would submit that since the defacto complainant has not submitted the relevant documents, the respondent Police has filed final report as further action dropped, that after receipt of the notice, the defacto complainant has produced the document and on that basis, case has been reopened and investigation is pending. 2/4

4.Recording the above submission, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
