ORDER
The Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.40 of 2017, pending on the file of the Principal District Court, Sivagangai, within a period stipulated by this Court.
2. Since the revision petition is filed for early disposal of the case, the issuance of notice to the respondents is not necessary.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioners would submit that the respondents 1 and 2 have filed the suit in O.S.No.40 of 2017 for partition and the case is being adjourned again and again. He would further submit that in the connected suit in O.S.No.41 of 2017, the revision petitioners have filed a revision before this Court in C.R.P. (MD)No.2387 of 2023 and this Court, taking note of the fact that the revision petitioners are senior citizens, has directed the Principal District Court, Sivagangai, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.41 of 2017 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of that order. 2/4
4. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioners would further submit that the revision petitioners are senior citizens and that the suit is pending from 2017 onwards.
5. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioners and also the fact that the suit is pending from 2017 and taking note of the age of the revision petitioners and also the direction for earlier disposal given by this Court in the connected suit in O.S.No.41 of 2017, the learned Principal District Judge, Sivagangai, is hereby directed to proceed with the trial and complete the same and dispose of the suit in O.S.No.40 of 2017 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
