JUDGMENT

(By G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) Heard both sides.

2.The appellant is a practicing lawyer and a person with locomotor disability. He is an aspirant for the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade II. The respondents have issued a notification in this regard and the examination is scheduled to be held between 26.07.2025 and 30.07.2025 in Chennai. The appellant is entitled to seek reasonable accommodation so that his participation in the examination can be assured. 3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the TNPSC informs the Court that all necessary arrangements to enable the petitioner to write the aforesaid examinations will be made. For instance, he will be permitted to write the examination in the ground floor itself. All the other necessary facilities shall also be made available to the appellant herein. As regards the appellant's 2/4

request for residential accommodation during the examination period, it may not be possible to accede to the said request at this point of time. 4.Recording the stand of the respondents, this Writ Appeal is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
