ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is seeking for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to restore the classification of the land in S.F.No.1705/1 for an extent of 1 acre 87 cents at Meelavittani village 2, Thoothukudi Taluk, Thoothukudi, to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner and to issue a fresh computerized patta in the name of the petitioner.

2.This Court, by order dated 07.12.2022, directed issuance of notice to the petitioner, as the learned counsel for the petitioner is reported to be no more. Registry had also issued notice to the petitioner. Such notice has been returned with an endorsement 'expired'.

3.In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
