O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for quashment of FIR in Crime No.83 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent Police.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 17.05.2023, the petitioner is said to have posted a message in Facebook degrading the second respondent, for which, on 18.05.2023, when the second respondent waylaid the petitioner and questioned about the same, the petitioner has assaulted the second respondent with hands and abused him in filthy language. Hence, a case has been registered against the petitioner.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondent submits that the investigation was completed and the final report was filed. The same was taken on file in S.T.C.No.1489 of 2023 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kovilpatti.

Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with a liberty to the petitioner to challenge the charge sheet.
